"I teach traditional Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama breath work, meditation and Restorative Yoga, focusing on the connection between breath and movement, allowing the body to flow with strength and the mind to find equanimity and balance. My dynamic and fun classes are accessible to all levels, aiming to make the body light and floaty with focus on technique, incorporating calisthenics exercises that utilise body weight as resistance and core strength activation, coordinating these things along with the breath for safe control and grace in movement, as is traditional of the Ashtanga Yoga method and sequences. I believe that the more effortless and controlled the yoga practice, the more relaxing and meditative it becomes, even when practising inversions such as handstands!

I draw inspiration from various teachers and take part in regular workshops as part of my continued professional development, as yoga is a life long journey of learning and self improvement. Understanding that you are your own best teacher, it is essential to know your own limits and goals, with others there to guide and support you. I believe that combining self-practice with regular group classes from a variety of different teachers and their perspectives and methods is the ultimate way to enhance your yoga experience and achieve your overall fitness and wellbeing goals.
